4Good deal, only one or two little complaintsOct 25, 2010

Pros:
Overall a nice vest, solid construction, good sewing, no obvious flaws.

Sort-of cons:
Ad's Marketing Speak says "Techno lite Taslan...lightweight fleece"?
Label more honestly says "Shell 100% Nylon", "Lining 100% Polyester". Hey, those folks in Bangladesh don't know the subtleties of English.

The zippered chest pocket usually referred to as a "cell phone pocket" is not a pocket at all. It opens to the entire space between the shell and the liner. Drop your phone in there and it'll take you a while to fish it out.

OK, this may just be me being picky, but the manufacturer's label is relatively large and sewed inside the left hand pocket on the zipper seam - and it comes out every time you take your hand out of the pocket, sticking out like a small flag. I'll probably use a razor knife to remove it, but it would have been so easy for the manufacturer to just sew it in someplace better...

Last and least, the waist gather doesn't gather much. It's just a slight narrowing. Maybe it's just me but I kinda expect the waist to come in to my waist. My wife says she likes it better this way though...and people pay her for her opinion on appearances, no one pays me for that. :-)

Conclusion:
Would I buy it again?
For $[...] shipped I'd probably investigate different brands first, but I don't think it was a bad buy.
